"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Blanket permission to use the planet's resources for our short-term ends was rescinded on July 16, 1945, when the first atomic bomb was set off at Alamogordo, N.M.

Out of the Attic relocates near mall Out of the Attic Antiques has recently relocated to 4054 Fox Valley Center Drive in the Westfield Shoppingtown in Aurora (across from the Fox Valley Mall between Toys R Us and the Magical Castle). Owned and operated by Glenn Lynch and his wife Julie, the new store offers an eclectic mix of classic antiques from primitives of the 1800's to retro collectibles of more recent vintage. Mamie Bishop
Mamie B. Bishop, 96, Harrison, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. J.D. Bishop and was a member of Lake Hills Church of God.
Survivors include sons, Larry David Bishop, of Harrison, Gary Paul Bishop, of Cleveland; grandson, David Bishop, of Harrison; four grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter ; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel, with the Rev. Julian Robinson and the Rev. J.C. Hodges officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 5 until 9 p.m. Edith Bookout
Edith Segers Bookout, 92, passed away on Wednesday, Nov.
